Charles is passionate about financial inclusion and has been in several leadership roles in the financial services sector in Uganda and Zimbabwe. He has over 25 years of progressive experience in Microfinance and banking strategy, financial inclusion, credit, operations and social performance management. He has also consulted in the same areas across the East African region and Sierra Leone. Over the years he has supported community microfinance, SMEs and farmer-based organizations in Uganda and conducted sector research and feasibility studies.

Charles holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Banking from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Economics and Political Science from Makerere University Kampala. He also holds certificates in banking and Project management from the same Universities.
