Abdul is a seasoned banking and credit management executive with over 25 years of experience in Credit Leadership, Agricultural Finance, Consumer Lending, Housing Finance, Salary Lending, Renewable Energy Financing, Portfolio Management and Financial Inclusion.

Throughout his career at Centenary Bank, he progressed from Agricultural Loans Officer to senior leadership positions at Head Office, overseeing key lending portfolios and driving business growth, innovation and strategic partnerships.

Abdul is also an experienced trainer, consultant and thought leader in agricultural and inclusive finance. He has collaborated with leading development partners, including the World Bank Group, GIZ, USAID, DANIDA, Habitat for Humanity and Water.org, to develop innovative and inclusive financing solutions.

Abdul’s leadership will be instrumental in strengthening UGAFODE’s credit function, enhancing portfolio quality, promoting sound risk management and expanding sustainable financing solutions for farmers, women, youth, MSMEs and underserved communities.
